Rude/offensive/Demeaning behavior

Sub: Rude/demeaning treatment by Edison NJ Cosmetics and More Employee(security guard)

I am writing to report and complain about rude behavior by one of your employees. I was so appalled with the gentleman's(security guard, slightly balding, short stocky guy) behavior that I decided NOT TO ENTER the store or do business with REVLON.

I am a Massachusetts resident and happened to visit the "Edison Cosmetics and more" on Sunday, Dec 28 2008, around 10-12PM.

My wife wanted to dispose an empty coffee cup and unfortunately, she brought it along to the front door and out of nowhere this gentleman popped out and pointed his finger at the sign "No Food or drink". We got it! We understand English and follow posted rules!!!

He did not stop there, in an almost demeaning manner and tone, we were instructed that *his* store was not a garbage dump and warned to return the offending cup to the car.

He did not stop yet - being anal, he pointed that it was not to be discarded outside the front door...

Clearly, you have issues here.

1. There is no trash can outside the store, one is strongly recommended to be installed there or remove all the signs on the front door.

2. Discipline your employee - My wife came back with more complaints about his behavior in the store.

We clearly hope not that this behavior was driven by our ethnicity(it will be disappointing). There were other Caucasians looking with shock at the exchange that happened between us and your employee.
