RemedySource Homeopathics buyer beware

I bought two books from RemedySource and soon after returned them. The company charged my credit card shipping and almost $50.00 restocking fee. Somewhere buried in small print under shipping terms is "a 25% restocking fee." Upon complaint, they would not reverse the excessive charge to put two books back on a shelf! You won't see a restocking fee from most retailers, let alone one that is that excessive..

We bought several items from remedysource.com and were always treated fairly whenever we had questions or required assistance. The matter of returning books is akin to eating dinner and than not wanting to pay for it. It goes without saying that the books were used when returned and I am suprised that remedysource accepts books for return at all. All sale of books are final without return at most retail locations.

Intelligent consumers will inform themselves of a company's Return Policy BEFORE making a purchase, especially an on-line purchase. They then have the option of making the purchase or not. Did the consumer read the Return Policy and decide it did not apply to him or did he not review the Return Policy at all.

RemedySource does not "bury" the Return Policy nor is it in "small print". In fact, there is a "hot" button on the Check-Out page urging the consumer to review the Return Policy before placing the order. If you don't agree with the Return Policy, why place the order? If you make the purchase but don't bother to read the Return Policy, do you have the right to complain?
