Dish Network completely screwed me!

Dish Network completely ripped me off and refuses to fix their error.

The only reason I signed up for Dish Network last year was to get NBA league pass. As of the start of the NBA season this year they were in negotiations and unable to provide the service.

On 11/3 I cancelled my subscription since they couldn't provide the only programming I wanted. I was told that because I had already paid for 11/1 to 11/30 the service would remain through the month then terminate with no further charges.

Apparently on 11/15 they settled their negotiations with the NBA and automatically renewed everyone with League Pass from the previous year. I was billed $183. I refused to pay of course but they had my autopay information still on file and decided to take it anyway. The worst part is they took the $183 on Christmas Day!

Their customer service representatives refuse to credit back this charge even though they admit that I called and cancelled the service in time because they couldn't provide League Pass.

Please stay away from Dish Network! They are absolute crooks.
