Bait and Switch

The food they served was good; however, upon my presenting a coupon from the 2009 Entertainment Book to pay, the waiter said that it did not apply to the buffet and did not offer any type of apology or consolation whatsoever. There were no signs posted on the window or notes in the menu stipulating such, and the only fine-printed exclusions printed on the coupon were that it was not to be used on holidays. Even though money had been tight, I wanted to celebrate at a nice restaurant with my girlfriend. I definitely would not have gone had I known that they would not have honored a coupon that they printed themselves. The insulting and embarrassing service was a slap in the face and a blemish to what would have otherwise been a great night.
