Sears I am hoping you can help. Or direct me to someone who can. On Oct 21,2008 I went into a  Sears store located in Wyoming Valley Mall. I went to make a purchase using my Visa charge card. The salesperson asked if I had a Sears charge account. When I answered yes but that I didn't have it on me because I hadn't expected to make a purchase. She went on to inform me that she could get my account number by using my telephone number and that by using my Sears account on my purchase (which was over $25) I would be entitled to a $5 Sears reward certificate/ It would be mailed to me. Amidst the holiday chaos. I didn't realize until about 2 weeks ago that I hadn't received the $5 reward check. May not seem like a sizable amount but in this economy $5 is $5. I emailed the customer service through the web site. They responded by telling me to call the number on the back of my Sears credit card. As I save the receipts I use to purchase Christmas gifts I came across the receipt and the promotional ad - not the coupon but just an informational ad. I called the customer service number on the back of my card. I explained to the customer service rep who had no clue as how to help me.He put me on hold several times supposedly to speak with a supervisor.I even read the promo offer to him I asked if I could just have $5 credited to my account. Which is in good standing and I have a $10,000 limit which has no outstanding balance. He replied there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was put on hold for an additional 35 minutes. Someone named  Latika got on claiming to be a supervisor. I once again informed her of the scenario. She went on to Tell me there was nothing she could do , that it is the marketing department and there is no way to contact them. Her attitude was rude. It took me by surprise as I thought customer service in this economy should be #1. I explained that I am seriously considering closing my account - for the lousy customer service  and $5 . I have tried to do on line search as to who to contact in corporate but have had no success. Can you help? Thank you.
