Placed an order through Marks and Spencer online ordering two weeks before Christmas. According to their website the order would arrive on Dec. 22nd. Instead on Dec. 23rd(!) I received an email in the morning saying they couldn't charge my credit card and had *10 days* before they cancelled the order. Then 45 *minutes* later, they said they were out of the item I ordered and my order was cancelled. Nothing but the normal fobbing-off platitudes from customer services: "Whenever there is a problem like this, we are always committed to putting it right and preventing it from happening again." But they have done nothing to put it right.
