Charter phone service..DO NOT USE CHARTER

oh where to begin,1st let me state that i live in OHIO, my son in law in TENNESSEE: this has been going on for like a week and 1/2 now, probably more!! my daughter and her hubby moved from one base to the other (ft. lewis to ft. campbell), they came through Ohio to visit us for a week.they signed up with Charter once they got to the base in Tennessee and used my cell phone as -- what they thought was -- a reference number. Charter is insisting it is a CONTACT number and have called my phone over and over and over despite calls to cease and desist immediately. my daughter and her hubby have BOTH called Charter to make this stop and they absoulutely REFUSE to stop, and they leave messages on my voicemail too. The last few days, they have started using 3 different numbers to call me from. Christmas Eve, when everyone is running around busy as bees, Charter is calling my phone over and over..I can prove this. I called them myself to put an end to this, oh boy is that a RUDE treat. finally today i got through to another customer noservice rep, oh he was a real prize. He even went so far as to say they would cancel my daughter and s-i-l's service and he said "i'll just put your son in law down for fraud"..i told him NO WAY he could do that. the cs rep tried to twist my words and tried to get me to admit to things that were not true. i got his name and employee ID number and plan to file harassement charges against Charter. (which the rep told me i could not do because HE knows the law). all this is recorded and i will have my phone records. i would really like to tell folks to RESEARCH before you get charter. i got my daughter a m*gic jack, which plugs right into the computer. it works well, and being Military, they can take it wherever they go.

(p.s. let me add that this CS rep also told me that when Charter calls ME about my daughter's service, it's my responsibility to "push the 1" then a tech will go to my daughter's house and they can refuse service. eh????? )
