Charter Telecommunication sucks

We recently had a rain storm that knocked off electricity in Central and Western Mass. It is 2 weeks with no svc; phone, cable, internet. I called the idiots today. Was told that they can make an emergency visit. When, I asked as I am at work. We don't know!!! I asked her if she knew the absurdity of the nonesense she just said. She said, "That's the way it is otherwise it will be 1/13/09"!!! Today is 12/26/08 and we have been w/o svc for 2 weeks already. This is a product of cable monopoly that the politicians refuse to break. Any other business can not monoplize except these idiots who pay a lot to the politicians.
