BENDAROOS BENDAROOS US I JUST STARTED TO ORDER THE PRODUCT MY DAUGHTER SHOWED INTEREST IN BENDAROOS. THE PROCESS STARTS BY POSTING THE PRODUCT AND PRICE WITH SHIPPING INCLUDED AND THE MATH IS BASIC. SO I FIGURED THE AMOUNT WOULD BE WHAT THEY SHOWED AND PROCEEDED TO ENTER MY DEBIT CARD INFORMATION. WHEN I WAS DONE THEY OFFERED ME A DIFFERENT DEAL THAT WAS BETTER BUT I STUCK WITH MY ORIGINAL DEAL. WELL THEY KEPT OFFERING ME OTHER BETTER DEALS I REFUSED. THEN THEY OFFERED AN ADDITIONAL PACKAGE OF BENDAROOS THAT GLOWED IN THE DARK WITH THE COST AND THE ADDITIONAL SHIPPING. AFTER THAT I REFUSED EVERY OTHER OFFER TO GET TO THE CHECK OUT SCREEN, WHERE THEY HAD JACKED ON SOME RUSH SHIPPING I REFUSED DUE TO THE FACT IT WONT MATTER THE ITEM WON'T REACH ME BEFORE CHRISTMAS ANYWAY. THERE WAS NO WAY TO FIND ANY HELP OR REFUSE THE ORDER I JUST REFUSED TO CLICK ON THE CHECKOUT AMOUNT. NOW I AM NOT STUPID I AM SURE THEY WILL TRY TO CHARGE ME, I HAVE ALREADY WARNED MY CCARD SERVICE (BANK). TO REFUSE THEM PAYMENT! I waited 3 weeks and finally received a package with 2 boxes of bendaroos with no invoice or charge amount in packaging. I week later I received my credit card statement and was billed $57 from them! I called customer service and was told that I purchased 2 (sets), I said no I purchased 1 set and that your phone ordering system needs to clarify better there promotion. He offered to refund the $19.99 for second set. I asked about the shipping as well because there is no way it cost $19 to ship two little boxes of Bendaroos.. He said his computer would not allow that.. They could ship out the ssecond set though if I wanted.. That is when I asked where the 2nd set that I supposedly ordered is anyway (Why didn't I receive that set at the same time?)? He had the nerve to say it probably got lost in the mail lol!! I said this is all starting to sound really shady to me.. I asked to speak to a manager to get the second shipping charge refunded as well and he told me there was no one I could speak to. I told him then to refund my orginal $19.99 order as well and that they should eat the extra $9 charge not me. He put me on hold and came back telling me that they would refund me the $9 shipping charge! We will see if I actually receive it! Wow did he just write the code that would allow him to refund me the shipping charge while he was on hold? It all sounds like a scam to me!! This company needs to be shut down!! They are overbilling customers, not sending out the extra set and hoping no one notices!! I have never experienced such extreme pressure. I finally had to just hang up the phone. Now, just a few weeks later they have passed my phone number, and my credit card number(according to complaints I have seen on the web) to third pary marketing firms. They have been continuously phoning me with high pressure, non-stop pitches for other products and services. I would suggest avoiding this company at all costs. But, over the phone. After saying "no" to all the additional things that they offered me,I ended the call thinking that I had ordered one and would be charged for that only plus shipping. Checking my bank account..they took out 60.98!!!!! No, clue what I am getting but, this is a rip off.
