I got a claim number from them, and a repair station to send my camera to, and the repair station says they won't take any repairtech warranties because they don't pay their bills!

i have a 5 year warranty on my camera from repairtech and they gave me a claim number and told me to send my camera to precision camera and so i sent my camera there in october of 2008 and it is now january and my camera is still in repair due to repairtech not wanting to pay for it. i have tried to contact them several times and they never answer their phones or call back.

i know longer have a phone number or a working email address to get a hold of them..the phone number that i had is now disconnected and no one responds to emails. so now i ahve to pay for my own camera to get fixed, apprearntly there warranties are pointless. they just rip people off.

I purchased a 5 year extended warranty on my camera last fall. The sales pitch was great, but looks like we've all been taken. Not only is there no way to communicate by phone, but even the websites are inactive. Looks like they went belly-up and we are out the cash. Any ideas regarding recourse?
