Whirlpool Fully Automatic Top loading Washing Machine

I have a Fully automatic toploading WHIRLPOOL WASHING MACHINE for which I have taken a AMC for 2 years which is still valid.On 15/12/2008 I lodged a repair complaint and the same day a service personnel called on us and informed that a part has to be changed and he would get back the next day.Even after 3 days NO person has called on us and the repair is NOT executed. I have made ample of calls and every time I am informed that a they have to procure a part and which has to come from Pondicherry(factory).From past 3 days I been given false promises and every time I call up the receiver request for 2 hours to let me know the status but never calls.This being the case I donot know why the sales of such machines are made and AMC collected in and around India. I feel they(whirlpool should restrict their sales only to Pondicherry where they can service their customers immediately. I have ended up in getting my families three days clothes dry cleaned for their inefficient service and landed in spending extra for the bad service rendered by Whirlpool

So watch out before buying these products and AMCs where they do not inform you about getting parts from factory when they book you up.
