Washington Mutual messed up big-time

I had a checking and savings account and credit card account with Washington Mutual Bank.


One day out of the blue they closed my credit card account, no explanation; I had an excellent paying record; I always paid on time and always paid more than the minimum payment (LOTS MORE sometimes); but: not only did they refuse to re-open the account to correct their error; they even refused to acknowledge they closed it in error; they insisted I had asked them to close the account, which was ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. I had monthly automatic charges on that credit card, there's no way I would have asked them to close the account.


Needless to say I closed all my accounts with them. Of course you can't trust a bank anymore that does something like that to you.
