Golf Schools United Schools of Gol 718 1/2 E. Main Street Richmond, In 47374 US www.ussog.com On October 18, 2007, I faxed a reservation form to the United States Schools of Golf (USSG) to reserve a 3-day Golf School with accommodations at Dobson Ranch, Mesa, AZ, starting April 13 to April 16, 2008. I have copy of faxed form and receipt from USSG, Invoice #15244, showing VISA payment in full for the golf school and stay at Dobson Ranch Inn. After completion of the school and upon departure from the Dobson Ranch Inn, we paid only taxes for the nights we stayed. On our recent VISA statement I noticed that we were charged an additional $309.00 from Dobson Ranch Inn in May 2008. Upon calling Dobson Ranch Inn and talking to Chuck Barron, Assistant Manager, I found out that the USSG payment to Dobson Ranch Inn for our stay bounced and Dobson Ranch then charged us for the stay. Mr. Barron has faxed me a note to that fact.
I then called USSG to find out what happened. I did make contact with Mr. Crum on June 10, 2008, and he indicated to email him a note with the information and he would have the hotel credit me back the charge. He also indicated that he would confirm that with me by email. I have not heard from him since, despite leaving several voicemails, sending several emails and faxing him a letter. I have also filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Division and Better Business Bureau. I have also shad an attorney send a letter with no results.
