Verizon Online deleted my DSL account

The Verizon DSL tech support center informed me tonight that my DSL account, as well as many other DSL accounts, were accidentally deleted by Verizon Online in the beginning of July.

I had thought for the past month that it was because I was slammed by Concordia Communications. But tonight the truth came out from their call center in India. My account was deleted. No wonder when I called Verizon several times in July they said they had no record of my account!

I had been told in July my service would be restored by August 1st. Now the story is that it will be restored by August 18th. How many other customers did they delete? How long will it take to get everyone's service back up and running?

Worse yet, Verizon didn't notify us about the problem or when it would be fixed! And it took their tech support staff in India for us to get an honest answer.
