Defective product with "limited" warranty

MW purchased 07, 2007 and stopped operating 08, 2008 -less than a week after the one year warranty expired. The magnetron - the defective part - is warranted for 7 years. However, labor is not included after 12 months from date of purchase. In addtion, consumer must pay all shipping and warranty will not be provided without dated proof of purchase. Lots of luck! Lesson: It's less expensive to buy a new one.
