BAD CUSTOMER SERVICES, & RUDE EMPLOYEES

Target ( Anaheim Hills, CA)
ANAHEIM HILLS, CA
US

I was shopping with my kids at Target In Anaheim Hills, the store was about to close, and as usual they anaused the store is closed. My two boys 14 & 11 year old were bouncing a ball while I was looking at some girls clothing, when a young girl, voice shouted "YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW!", speaking to my sons and I. I was bending down, when I told my kids lets go. As I was paying at the counter, I saw the Target employee by the exist. I approached a gentleman which is Jeff and is the manger for that store, on this particular day. I explained the situation, expressing my feeling that the employee was rude to us. She stated that she was talking to my sons. Any how the manger stated that he would talk to her. I felt humilitaed, and discrimanated, and embarrassed. How could someone just come up to you and yell at you and kick you out of the store. I do understand the store was closing, but if she is has any manners this should not have happen. I beleive they have made a negative impact in my family, and myself. The manger felt that it was not discriminating against me. But why would she be so rude, and not apologize.

Descrimination no, rude yes..what she should have done was step up to you after all you are the adult and said "Mam we are closing up you'll need to head to a register and please don't let your children play with our merchandise" she then should have inspected that ball made sure it had no damage from your kids playing with it..if it did she should have politely asked you to pay for the ball (it is a store not a playground they don't provide free toys for kids to play with or tear up)..if you refused she then should have taken it to her Manager and see what she or he had to say about it..if there was no damage she should have put the ball back up then escorted you and you ill behaved children to the front of the store..Sorry, but you should not have allowed your children to play with any merchandise you had no intentions of purchasing..my great Nephew only 3 at the time once found a play ball he really wanted I got it down and found all kinds of damage to it from it being played with then returned to the large bin, I then handed it to a employee she sighed real loud and said "not another one damnit we can't sell damaged toys"..sadly, there was not another ball like it so he didn't get the ball he wanted! As I said before, She was wrong not to calmly speak to you in a respectful manner, but you were wrong to let your children play with merchandise you had no intentions of paying for and you were wrong for not offering to buy that ball if it had any damage..After a long hard day dealing with customers like yourself who let their Children run all over the place and treat the store as a playground one can hardly fault any of the emoloyees for dealing with a customer such as yoruself in a rude manner..yet she should have apologized then again you should have too..You can start with the Child knocked out of owning that ball you let your kids play with!!

This is not discrimination. I cant see by your own explaination of the event yuo can make such a claim. Your children should not have been abuseing someone elses belongings. The employee should have made you pay for the product that is now used goods. And unless you left something out about your discrimination clain I think yuo should be sued.
