Anthony's Pets just as bad

I'm not sure if its because they are remodeling or because its the way they get more rats, or because they are lazy, but every time I go into the store I find at least one pregnant rat. Boys and Girls look very different, so I don't think it could be a mistake. I just wanted to post so that anyone who goes to get a rat from them will make sure they are getting what they want. Here is a tip: boys have very large testicles at the base of their tail. Girls do not. If the girl is pregnant, she will have prominent nipples. Female rats do not really show they are pregnant until the last week, so be careful.

I bought a dog from Anthonys Pets and the dog was 100% on tranquilizers in the store. The dog was more then drugged up he was basically incoherent. I brought the dog home basically got him weined off the drugs and the dog literally was a completely different dog within 48 hours. Anthony is a scam artist. He drugs the dogs so they seem perfect but as soon as they come down off of them they become animals. This also happened to one of my friends as well. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HIM

I do everything possible to keep the animals in my store healthy. When you came in, we had just opened and hadn't yet completed the facilities to seperate our rats. Males and females are now seperate, which was in the plans all along. If you find any further problems, I would encourage you to speak to me personally, as it will allow me to resolve issues more quickly and is thus better for the animals.

I've gone into this store many times, and the rats are kept clean and have plenty of food and water. Nature has rats breed early and often for survival, so pregnant female rats are very natural. I actually purchased a hamster from Petsmart, and when it turned out to be pregnant, they politely told me that I was on my own. I called Anthony's Pets, and they told me that I could bring the babies in when they were ready to wean.

So, since rodents breeding is normal and natural, and this particular store seems to be willing to help if someone, even a customer from a different pet store, has unwanted babies, I'm totally not seeing what you are bitching about. Anthony's Pets took care of my Petsmart rodent problem, and they'll take care of you too.
