u-save NOTHING when renting from them

OMG I will never rent from this company again. First of all, I reserved my car 1 1/2 months in advance. My flight was delayed, so I called u-save and left many recordings letting them know that my flight was delayed due to hurricane winds. My husband, our 5 year old daughter and I finally arrived to Orlando airport at 11pm. I had been calling them and leaving messages on their phone since 8pm and NO ONE EVER picked up the phone or ever bother to return my call.

Anyway we were all very tired but happy to finally get to Florida. There was a guy in a u-save van picking up other passengers and told me that he would come back for us because we did not fit in the van. We waited and waited and waited and he NEVER came back. At 1am I had no other choice but to pay $15.00 to a cab driver to take us 2 miles to the the nearest hotel.

The next morning I finally got in touch with a human after calling all night and the lady said someone would pick us up at the hotel. Which is only a block away from the U-save car rental.

When we got to the office they were apologetic and said they would upgrade us for all of our troubles. Well the so called upgrade was a piece of crap...

We got a car that had dents all over, a broken windshield, none of the powered mirrors worked, the radio didnt work, the digital clock in the car did not work and we noticed after a bird decided to take a crap on the windshield that the damn car did not have windshield wiper fluid either. I called U-save and complained and they again apologized and said that they would be happy to swop another car with me. The owner of the rental place asked me where we staying (which was 30 minutes away) and said that he would call another u-save place so that they could take care of me. Well take care of me meant ME having to take the car to them as oppose of them taking the car to me. Oh by the way the girl that I spoke to last (michielle) was RUDE as hell. She spoke over my voice and when I asked her not to speak over my voice she said, "oh, but I have to hurry up because I am taking care of another customer who is standing in front of me". The nerve of her. Excuse me, then why did you pick up the phone if you can't multi-task???

I will never ever ever ever rent another car from them. I would not recommend them to anyone. U-SAVE yourself the headache and never rent from them either.
