DFS DPA Revolving credit Jims Issues: Received Computer on 08-01-08 3.5 Floppy

not installed but area for this,Associate stated to me that it could not be

done. Only 8 USB ports instead of the ten I asked for. Called Special services

for a return, Talked to Nick and he is sending me the USB port and the

Internal 3.5 drive to put into computer. I get to build it the way it was sold to

me ????? 08-03-2008 Tech # Case 53637206 and 616528168 Per Ishan

1-800-624-9896 Ext. 7269679 No Sound on unit in any sections. Windows Media soft wear is

no good My Bills File disappeared. My pictures Missing. Barnum,BPT,CF Cant,CF

Quaker, Dan House. This is from switching to and from H external drive.

Mouse and Keyboard not able to be installed. Error messages , Missing Files From

computer, missing set up files. TV Tuner in operational. Missing Files.

Windows could not install important updates. Screen Saver does not work. Desk top

picture does not stay. HP Printer install issue. AOL install issue with

aol.exe Firewall issue. Offer to put back to original and re load operating systems

and I lose everything in the computer that has been installed and files. I

THINK NOT. Told a Tech will come out, save everything, re do computer and set

it up and install everything including the floppy and USB board.. Escalated

to SSR . 24-48 hour return call. Should be Tuesday by Noon. 08-05-08. 08-05-08

1:21pm Received a call from the Escalated Solutions center. The Inda man

stated that they will only give me a new hard drive to make it work and I will

have to lose the information that I have installed in the computer. I told him

I I could not back the items up based on the programs not working properly.

I also stated that Ashan at ext 7269679 stated that they will sent a man out

to the house to install the 3.5 floppy, the additional USB ports and then

back the items up, re do the hard drive and re install the items I have in there

now. This so called specialist said no, that is not going to happen. He also

stated that I would have to PAY for this to be done by a local computer

persn. I then tried to call Ashan back at X 7269679 and can not get in touch with

him. I called the sales department and left a message for Justin Hospie at

2160223 and have not received a response at all. I have gone through many

customer care specialists and nothing is being done. I have $1700.00 on a Dell

preferred account and it will all be returned if this is not fixed quickly. I

am also composing a detailed letter for The Better Business Bureau and

Your Desired Resolution:

What I want them to do is : Install the 3.5 internal floppy as should have

been done in the first place. Install the additional USB ports that dell said

was installed. Back up my items such as bills,pictures and programs I have on

the computer., Fix the operating system to work and re install all the items

that I have on the computer. I do not think I am asking for much, just want

what I paid for and the computer to work with the programs I have.

Bureau, and then forwarded to the business for their response. It is our
