Capital One tried to steal from us!

Last year my husband went and got a personal loan without me knowing. He has made the payments, as agreed for a year! 2 months ago he forgot to pay $6.00 on the payment that was due that month and Capital One took it from OUR joint checking account without authorization. They eventually refunded the money, but would not give me any information or access to my husband's loan.

This month, my husband made his scheduled payment to the bank 10 DAYS before it was due, the payment is due on the 5th of the month, and the bank called our home on the 4th and said they didn't have the payment. He read them all the info from the receipt for the payment he had made and guess what! They charged our checking account for the FULL PAYMENT! I questioned my husband about it and he has shown me the receipt for payment, so I know he made it BEFORE it was due!

Now Capital One tells him he has to wait 24 hours to get refunded, if they can find it in their system that he paid! EVEN AFTER HE SHOWED A COPY OF HIS RECEIPT!!

THIS IS THEFT, and I don't know how to make them stop taking money from us!!
