Regarding Best Price Moving and Storage Company. Initial pick up 4-13- 2008 from Walled Lake, Michigan to Stuart Florida. Driver could not fit all our furniture in truck as quoted. We had to donate or try to sell. They put holes in boxes and destroyed or broke almost every thing. Antique stain glass church window has several broken pieces & cracked. No way should this be brought to us in this shape. Had just bought dinning table & 6 leather chairs (came back cut or gauged & scratched) Grandmother cedar chest (8" deep scratch on the top from front to back & broken in back) Antique Wardrobe had dented & gauges also wood was split in pieces. Sauna (Just bought) has broken wood & scratches every where, speaker cover missing, other was bent. New white dresser had several gauges on top. Even Tupperware containers were completely destroyed & un-taped with important documents of taxes, credit cards. Missing boxes. They were suppose to blanket and deliver in shape that they took items in, Not bring it back destroyed. Did contact & sent pictures & documents that they wanted of all damages to Anthem Claim & that was suppose to have insurance on. In return we received a letter for $0.00 consideration. Because I signed the paper under false pretense. We had to meet driver at weigh station for over charging us. We feel that this company was unprofessional & we were treated poorly. We want to inform others for mishandled items from incompetent individuals moving company. That was our last move from this company & will not recommend it to anyone we know. No one should have to go thru this like we did. What good is insurance if it does not cover anything. Any reputable company will stand by their work. Thanks Email User
