I ordered women's shorts from boardshortworld.com, and received an empty package....I left 2 voicemails, received no response. I finally was able to get a response through email stating that since I did not insure the package there is nothing they can do......which leads me to believe that if you do NOT insure your package with them, they may send you an empty package and not be responsible for it....so I paid them $46.99 and received nothing for it!

With a $29 minimum order we ship FREE via USPS First Class mail and we offer the option of purchasing insurance for rare postal damages and this customer, unfortunately did not buy it. We provide tracking info and proof that the USPS delivered your parcel at the exact shipping address you specify on your order. The bar code on your package is scanned by the carrier when it is left at your delivery address. Unless you elect to purchase the optional insurance, we do not assume responsibility for your package after the delivery scan by the USPS carrier. Nor are we responsible for any (rare) in-transit damage of your parcel. At checkout you will have the option of purchasing damage insurance for the flat rate of $5 for your order. If your parcel arrives damaged in trasnit, you must return to us the damaged gament (s) and all packaging along with a claim affadavit to process the claim.
