Upon calling the number on my Charter One Account I found it was this Shopping Essentials service monthly fee. I create websites and know how to spot someone trying to sell you on there service so it's my opionion they stole my credit card information when I paid for the 15.00 classmates.com membership. Coincidentally I never got a confirmation email that I signed up for this shopping service otherwise it would of been readily identified and removed but instead after I called and complained I did get a confirmation of cancellation which further proves my point of shady dealings going on with this company. If you can send a cancellation email you can send a confirmation of sign up, right? So they stole my information and cost me bank account damages of an overall 131.95. This ruined my chances of paying for the DC trip for my kids field trip this Friday and I am racking up overdraft charges till I get paid this Friday I feel they should be punished severely for this crime.My Desired Reolution:I want the 19.95 and the damages caused and them out of business for fraud and stealing of peoples credit card information. When I called them it was as if they were used to getting the call of anger to be removed. Like they do this all the time and just revers the 19.95 when caught but I want the damages taken care of too! I'm so angry I want them out of business!The above is how I reported this to the Better Business Bureau of Chicago Illinois.
