internet service

I went to Verizon's website to see if they provide internet service in my area of the city. The site is very hard to use but eventually I got the answer that, per my zip code, internet service is available to me. Tried to set up an appt and couldn't do it. Emailed their internet service dept and got a reply stating that internet service is NOT available in my area. My next door neighbors have it!!

Ended up going through Time Warner instead.

Not the first time I've had poor service with Verizon. The only way to get help for phone problems through their phone-in number is to keep hitting the 0 until it connects you to a live body.
