UHaul wants to know too much

UHaul 8805 N Division St Spokane, WA 99218 US www.uhaul.com I recently called the local UHaul to get a quote on a trailer hitch. I was put on hold for 15 min. and then was told that he could not tell me the price without me giving him my full name. UHaul's policy states "We collect customer contact information (such as name, phone number, email address and mailing address) and financial information (such as account or credit card numbers). Contact information is used to contact customers regarding their quotes, reservations and/or purchases. Financial information is used, only by Web Team Associates, Inc., to charge the customer for products and services." None of that information is needed by anyone simply to quote a price over the phone. They do not need to contact me, I contacted them. I consider their practices an invasion of privacy. Needless to say, I'm buying a hitch elsewhere and I'm advising others to do the same.
