dvd rental service dvd express everywere mostly supermarkets US DVD express charged $10 more for a video than it is worth because it was 15 days past due. They advertise $1 a night with no late fees and I was charged $25 for 15 nights From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Saturday, 23-Aug-08 04:48:08 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisTo be honest, that's what you get for abusing the no late fee's deal. These deals are set so that if someone literally can't return a DVD the night it is due, they can just do it the next night or so. An example of this would be say someone who works in the ER of a Hospital, and has to work too late, so she has to return it the next day which she does not have to work too late. These deals aren't set for People to abuse this generous offer by purposely keeping Videos late knowing there are no late fee's. What if someone wanted to come and rent the DVD you had, but you had the only copy? If that were the case, would you care that you are being selfish? I highly doubt it. With that said, it's wrong for any Company to not honor their word, so shame on them for not doing so, but at the same time shame on you for abusing their generous offer and being greedy.
