Comcast Comcast Communications Denver, CO US comcast.net I recieved a letter from a collection agency stating I had an overdue account from Comcast Communications I called Comcast and spoke with a Ted in credit/collections and asked why I was getting a letter from the credit agency. Reminded him that my bill was paid, and that my account was closed July 7, 2008. He looked at his records and agreed, and then stated that I had a credit of $4.33 that should be coming in the mail. I asked him why my account was sent to the collections agency and all he could do was repeat that I had a credit of $4.33 that was coming in the mail. I asked to speak to a senior manager or someone that could help me with preventing my credit from being damaged any further as Comcast had sent my already closed account into a collection agency. Have not heard yet. I'm concerned that Comcast sends accounts to collections that are paid. And why has it taken them more than 2 months to send me the credit of $4.33???
