Complain on Asurian My complaint is on Asurian Insurance
On July 22nd, 2008, my phone fell in water. I called Asurian to have another phone shipped out to me (seeing that I do have insurance). I was given an option to have the phone shipped overnight for a $7.00 fee or wait for 3 - 5 days. I opted to be charged the $7.00 to have the phone shipped overnight because I needed a phone right away. On the 23rd I was expecting to get the phone, but there was no phone delivered to me, on the 25th, I called Asurian for a status on the phone, the customer service person I spoke with said the phone was on backed ordered and was not available. I should be getting the phone in about a week. So, I said I called two days ago and the other customer service person did not tell me the phone was not available. I then requested to have the ordered cancelled because I was told I can pay $7.00 for the phone to be overnighted to me, not that the phone was not available, or I had to wait a week. Obviously, if I knew the phone was not available, I would not have paid $7.00 to overnight the phone to me. A week later, the phone was shipped to my house, I did not accept it, the UPS person wrote "REFUSE" on the packaged and sent the phone back to Asurian. Now, they are still charging me $50.00. They have only agreed to refund the $7.00 for the overnight charge.
