Cap One Auto Finance is literally the worst bank/funding source I have ever heard of, or used in my 25 years in the auto business.

From LARGE acquisition fees (They should just call it what it really is:POINTS!!), to rates that by company policy go out at state maximums.

On top of that, impossible to navigate from a consumer standpoint. Just pay, don't think about calling for help or service.

Pre-pay?// How about this: Lost checks, uncashed checks, misapplied payments, anything to keep the state maximum capped interest payments flowing.

Really, Cap. One Auto Finance is the absolute worst of what the auto business represents, and if you have to walk away from a car to avoid using them as a funding source, then do so.

Stay away, very far away!!
