Lousy customer service

Comcast Comcast anywhere, US comcast.net I ordered Comcast cable, internet, and TV on Aug 6, 2008. The installer came out on Aug 13, 2008. He stated he had bad equipment so he would return on Aug 14, 2008 to complete the job. This is now Aug 20, 2008, and no tech has shown up to finish the job. You call customer service and all they can do is apologize, and "escalate the problem" The highest member of mangement a consumer can contact is a supervisor in a call center either in Canada, Mexico, or Costa Rica. They tell you all they can do is "escalate" the problem. I have made 17 phone calls, 3 more appointments for a tech to come out, and still the installation is incomplete. When you ask to speak to a member of management in their corporate office, you are told there are no outside lines for a consumer to call into. The only solution is to NOT order Comcast for anything. Maybe then, when stock prices go down, and corporate starts losing money, they will pick up the phone and talk to their customers.
