Pitney Bowes Postage Meter Lease

Terminated lease on PB 100i mailing station on 7/21 as I was downsizing.Given offer on mailstation 2 which I accepted.Was told I would receive instructions in mail as to how to return 100i system. Mailstation 2 arrived 7/23. Made 2 calls to get info re return of 100i. They said they would be sending me something. Which they did - a $100 invoice which must be paid and THEN the process for return will be initiated. I have leased postage systems from Pitney Bowes for 20 plus years and my account is current. NEVER AGAIN. Why should I have to pay for return of THEIR equipment? Really, really upset!

Same thing happened to me, after the same long time use of their equipment. Their equipment is great. The company is the worst I have ever done business with - ever! I will pay twice as much to use any competitor of PB, just so that I can avoid them. Their service, and policies are so bad, I would go out of my way to recommend some one use anything but them. Even if it means more money, or licking stamps. They gave me nothing but grief and lip service. Oh yeah, and invoices.
