Horrible Car Buying Experience

US I purchased a car on 8/5/08 with a promise that the car would be delivered on 8/6/08. The car was not delivered on 8/6/08. I received a few phone calls after that pushing off the delivery date. The last phone call received was 8/8/08. On 8/12/08 I finally called and asked for an update. I was told I would receive a call back and never did. I called back and again I was told I would receive a call back and never did. I called once more that day and was told I would receive a call back from a manager in the next two days. I received no call and the first contact that was made was a visit by me to the dealership to inquire about the car on 8/14/08. They did not have the car and had no idea when they would be getting it. I cancelled the deal immediately. Not only did I wait 9 days for a car that I purchased and never received, each sales person that I encountered was condensending and unhelpful. I was made multiple promises by many members of the staff that were never fulfilled. The initial selling process was also dragged out and unnecessarily difficult for a 100% cash transaction. I do not consider myself a special consumer by any means, but this company did not even treat their customers with a littlest bit of respect.
