paypal/ebay 5 day hold

Dear Fellow ebayers,

I write to warn you of a disturbing practice of greed that ebay/paypal has begun to sit on our funds for 5 DAYS. Also delaying shipments for 5 days as well.

Prior to my purchase on April 2nd, my payments through paypal for purchases was instant.

Now the funds are taken out immediately, but the seller does not get the funds cleared for 5 days. SHAME ON EBAY/PAYPAL!!!

When I discovered what PayPal had done, I opted to pay for my purchases with a credit card for instant payment. All of a sudden I get a screen offering three options:

1. transfer of funds (5 days)

2. transfer of funds (immediate)

3. credit card (immediate)

not only did they discourage the credit card purchase (it cost�s PAYPAL $) they made it confusing to change.

I say, �YOU GREEDY PEOPLE!�

It is hard to trust you anymore. Your Corporate Greed makes me ill. Instead, why don�t you creatively provide better services or raise the costs. This trick, combined with your phony $2000. Insurance protection has made me look elsewhere.

Thanks for making our lives more complicated.

Hi, I too, have discovered the Hold paypal has. I sold a phone system, and they still have my money. I am out the money and the system. i even provided the required tracking number. what a sham paypal is, closed my ebay account today and am waiting for paypal to clear out my account so i can close that too. im so done.
