HSBC does not care about phsihing

Today I received an e-mail from an hsbc.com address that said there had been several unsuccessful attempts to access my online account and to link to web site address. well, I don't have an online account, so this was clearly phishing or something was up with my account. I called in and after about 15 minutes confirmed it was phishing and the gentlemen gave me another number to call to let the bank know. I called the number and told them, and after 10 minutes on hold, they came back and said this was the wrong number and gave me an international phone number to call. so, the only way a US customer of HSBC can let them know someone is scamming their customers is to spend money calling internationally. Obviously this is not a bank to use.
