Consumer Complaint

My complaint is about 2 things:

1. Real estate agent - situation: lease agreement with eventual purchase of

200K. after 1 month the house became riddled with ants, not just any ant these

ants ate the leather off of my shoes, consumed my bed (while away), and got

into my clean clothes. Everything these ants touched I had to throw away

because my skin would itch no matter how many time I washed the item. After 2

months I complained to the agent (sole contact, at request of owners) about

the problem, she wasn't surprised. I'd fumigated, sprayed, and request she

have the house exterminated (no previous occupants). She contacted a company

that came while I was at work, my son was home to left their representative in.

The representative wanted money prior to spraying, I contacted the real estate

agent and she contacted the company. My son said he sprayed because the

real estate agent paid. However, my son signed a paper believing it to be the

work order.

2. 1 month later the company started sending me a bill for the spraying, I

contacted them several times in an attempt to find out what for. I asked them

if their policy was to be paid in advance why did the representative spray.

They sent the account to a collections company (Transworld Systems). I

reported them to the BBB and they won't respond. I contacted them again to find

out why they haven't responded, because I will pay if they can explain why the

sprayed if the account wasn't paid. To date the company will not explain

and has not contacted the BBB, I was told that their corporate office has to

handle it. But my son signed some paper work, which I don't see how it make ME

liable.

Originally, the companies name was PEST BEAR, which I found numerous

complaints for the on the BBB website. The collections report I received states

their name is Hollywood East, I don't know what they go by now. I believe the

real estate agent is partnered with them, in addition she gave me the name Pat

Harris, but then I noticed on our lease agreement it states Pat Langston.
