Godaddy.com refuses to close my account

I haven't used the account for two years and they automatically renewed it and took my money while refusing to cancel my account. I try to cancel as they say I have to do it, but I don't have the password and their recovery procedure does not work for me. They are theives.

I'm having the same problem. I have called twice and the first time they said no problem, and the second time they said I had to close it. so I go online to where they tell me to go, and guess what, there is NO WAY TO CLOSE OR DELETE THIS ACCOUNT. I am calling the Attorney General's office.
