Refund insult

I recently purchased an online Medical Transcription course for $1,855.00. I had changed plans and decided to cancel the program.

The director's associate told me that I was entitled to only an $80 refund. I told her that I was outraged. She said that her director would call me (She never did) but emailed me stating the policy rules.

I think that the policy rules were deceptive; I had the materials for less than a month and was within the 45 day Pro-rated rule, which is 10% of the base tuition of $800, which is $80, but I did not catch onto this; had I known this from the start, I would have been hesitant to purchase the program.
