Refuses to pay for damages caused by company truck driver

One of Martin's large dump trucks was making a delivery to my neighbor and when he backed up my driveway to turn around, he ran over a wooden planter in my garden. He told me they would take care of it, then later, Martin's told me my neighbor would pay for the damage (I don't know why, he was not driving the dumptruck). After several weeks of hearing nothing from my neighbor, I contacted David Martin and he told me to mail him the bill and his company would pay it. I have called several times since sending them the bill and have never had a response and the bill was never paid.
