Direct TV poor service

US I was very excited to have Direct TV installed since they were offering Russian channel with it, which costed $15 just by itself on top of package. I didn't have problems with service for the most part except once when I had to talk to customer service superviser who was incredibly rude. Recently I stopped receiving signal for Russian channel. When my husband called to schedule service, company advised that they experience problems with satellite signal but do not offer free service calls anymore. So we'll have to pay to get their problem fixed. I was so shocked, since I've never heard of such ridiculous business practice. We dropped the channel and now waiting for our contract to expire to switch back to comcast who always fixes their problems at no cost to consumers. Every time I watch Direct TV commercial about how great their customer service is, I just laugh.
