Update to Sam's Club Lies

This is an update to Sam's Club Lies. I finally got fed up with arguing with Andrea at Sam's Club and file a complaint with my State Attorney General via fax. I also sent a copy to Sam's Club.

A couple of days later on April 23rd, I received the following email:

We spoke to the DO and my club manager again and they finally decided on giving you a giftcard in the amount of the software. Please just be aware that copyright stuff can no be returned in the future. You do not have to bring the software in just bring in the receipt so that they can give you the giftcard.

As you will notice, once again I was being asked for the receipt. Again I sent an email stating that if they would read my previous emails, they would know that I did not keep the receipt. I then received the following email from Andrea:

Come into the store and go to the desk they can look it up on your membership card. Once they locate it they can issue out a gift card in that amount per our club manager Domenic. We would have called you and talked to you personally but the number we have is inccorect. Thank you, Andrea

The thing that bothers me with Andrea's email is her statement "IN THAT AMOUNT "PER OUR CLUB MANAGER DOMENIC". I am not sure I like the way Andrea worded her email. To me, it sounds like once I get into the store Domenic could easily change his mind. In the past I was told I would get a full refund and then it was changed to a $10 gift card.

I also find it interesting that I filed a complaint with the main office of Sam's Club and gave them my correct phone number and it seems my complaint didn't go anywhere because if it had, they would have my correct phone number. At this point, I don't trust Sam's Club and feel they could be playing games with me. I sent Andrea an email stating that I was going to wait until I heard from the Attorney General. That way, in the end, there won't be any misunderstandings.
