Unauthorized debiting of personal checking

The company amde an unauthorized debit of 532.57 on 4/17/08. I discovered this when I found my checking account with a balance too low to buy groceries.

I called customer who acknowledged the error but said it could olny be corrected by the collections who were gone for the day. (about 3:30 PM on Friday) but would be available for a short period on Saturday morning. Needless to say this was merely a tactic as no one was in that would answer the phone on Saturday.

In my experience they are terrible about managing payments, several times taking as many as three weeks to post a payment and calling as many a six times in a day to inquire about late payments. When I complained about the number of calls they said that a computer dials the calls and that they do not make any calls on a given day after one call is answered. In fact they make up to calls in one day even if all are answered. They will call for a payment later in the same day a phone payment has been made.

All requests to speak to a manager or supervisor are refused.
