Worth service of HP(Hewlett Packard) Service Center in India

Dear All,


I am Sunil Uttekar from Mumabi. I purchased HP Laptop in May 2008 i.e. HP

NX 7300. It had been working fine till February 2008, but suddenly its

charger(Adaptor) got some problem and i was unable to charge my Laptop. I

was not sure about problem so on March 13th i visited the dealer he checked

from his end and said problem was with adaptor. He told me to visit HP

service center.


Now, my case is in detail :


*March 13 2008 :*

I went to service center at Kalina, Mumbai for my problem. They checked and

found the problem with adaptor logged call for replacement. They informed me

that i would get it within 2 days.


*March 17 2008 : *

**

I went there to collect it in morning at time provided. They made me waited

there for 1 hour and told me that they had not received the new adaptor. I

asked for my old one as i had to leave for Baroda (though would get it

replaced from Baroda), but they said that i had to go to service center at

Dadar, Mumbai to get. I went at Dadar service center and collected it after

wasting more an hour.


*March 18, 2008 : Baroda Service Center *

Now, at Baroda the my Laptop was changed, not like that. Thay said that they

required invoice as it was purchased from out of India(which is not). For

the same Laptop for which the call was logged in Mumbai on March 13, 2008

without any invoice. Thay could log the call on basis of serial number.

Here, i was unlucky that i was not having invoice, left in Mumbai.


*Back to Mumbai :*

*March 25, 2008, Dadar Service Center : *

**

Again, I visited and call was logged for replacement with reference number

2600I33I60 and i was told to wait for 2 working days. One more thing total

time took for this was 2 hours. I hoped this time my work will be done.

*March 28, 2008, Dadar Service Center : *

**

After 2 days,(working days) I went to collect new adaptor, but i was shocked

when they told me that they need mor 2 days. I really dont what they did in

that two days whether they had sent it for replacement or not. I provided

them more 2 working days.


March 31, 2008, Dadar Service Center :


Again after 2 working days, they needed more two days. I shouted this time,

but could not do much more. I told them that i wnated it in two days

otherwise i would take some serious action for it.


As I am not so powerful person to do something, I have chosen the way of

e-mail to teach them. I request you wall to forward this mail to all your

friends. I wish i dont have to keep forarding this mail with whole calender.


Here is the end of my story.


*But, I would like to tell you about one more case which I got at HP Service

Center, Kalina, Mumbai. :*

There was one guy who purchased HP Laptop. He had problem with mother

board(heart of laptop). It was happened exact before the one of last date of

warranty. He went to service station and gave them his Laptop. They

registred his compalint, but the case was not logged in their system. They

gave it back to him saying that it was working fine and no problem with

mother board.


But, he checked problem was still there. He again went and gave it to

service station, and again the same history was repeated. It was going till

one month. The actual call was logged after warranty was over. They asked

him to pay for the new mother boards without his fault.


This is what called the worth serivice of HP Service Center in Idnia.
