Comcast Customer Service - Lack there of
|
White Marsh, MD 21236 US www.comcast.com I am continually amazed at the lack of professionalism with Comcast Customer service. Today I come home to find my HD HDV box displaying an error message. I've been through this so many times that I know the initial steps to take. Power off the box for at least 1 minute, call the support number and request a signal to be resent. That didn't do it so I stay on the line and wait about 20 minutes to get to a person who does the same thing. Only this time they can't. Rep doesn't know why so she tells me that I should just wait for it to come back. Bad move. I ask for a supervisor and am told that she can't get one and they would just tell me the same thing. I ask again, and she informs me that she can only take my name and phone number and they will call back with 48-72 hours with quite a bit of attitude in her voice like she was being bothered. I call back, get another rep who gives me the same line, only stating it will be within 2 hours, this one with even more of a bad attitude. Plus she needed my address. When I asked why she couldn't get it from my account info that was already on the screen she just got irate and asked if I wanted the call-back or not. It's been over 2 hours and, you guessed it, no call back. It amazes me that I pay so much money for a service that I can only use a few hours a week anyway, and when I want to make use of it, there is a problem. This isn't the first time I've had issues in the 2 years that I've had the service, but in my area I only have 2 options. Looks like it finally time to look into satellite TV service. I guess customer satisfaction just isn't the goal any longer From: Message Author (click here to email author) (has asked not to receive email) Date: Thursday, 17-Apr-08 19:08:32 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
