bruce fowler AUTO PARTS GIANT UNKNOWN.......U.S.A UNKNOWN, UN UNKNOWN US AUTOPARTSGIANT.COM I order a window regulator for a 1991 suzuki sidekick back in March 19 /08 and they sent me a email saying it was sent out .... last week i phone to see how long it will take to get to CANADA and if was sent ... the guy on ordering line at AUTO PARTS GIANT said it will 10 days to get here AND IT WAS SENT...... on APRIL 9 /08 i got a EMAIL from the company website also stating it was sent ....... today APRIL 10/08 i received a EMAIL stating it was out of stock and i will receive my refund on my VISA .... i phone the company and to a sales guy at that company and said it was a poor way to run a business and they should before 3 weeks if they don't have a part in stock ....... all i got was a run around and they have more than 1 warehouse ...... they need a good shake up if they want to stay in business ........ so if you needs parts at all ....... don't wait around for them .... and don't order from them From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Thursday, 10-Apr-08 11:24:08 CDT Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This Comment On ThisJust another complaint to add to the list. Bought parts back on 08Oct08. Received some of the parts on 22Oct08, but not everything. Gave them some time, just in case they were back ordered. Started making calls the end of November/beginning of December 2008. Called pretty much every day. They were pretty consistent with the same story - the paperwork for the refund was submitted, it should take 24-48 hours for the refund to be posted. Kept dealing with the supervisor (Irwin), who also tried to put me in touch with the GM (John Sinclair). I think my favourite part of this whole ordeal was being told that they didn't know the returns managers last name because they didn't see him all that often. After a couple of weeks of this, a friend referred me to this website that handles online fraud (www.ic3.gov). On November 20th 2008 I ordered an Heater Core from them online. They charged my credit card but never shipped the item. On November 26th I got an email saying the item has shipped but no tracking number or shipper was provided. I went online to their site and it also says the item has shipped but no tracking number or shipper is provided. I clicked the link to track my order and it says the order cannot be tracked. I called their customer service number with the option about an existing order and no one answers the phone. I called again and took the option to place a new order and no one answers the phone. It seems like they only want folks to order online so that they can scam you. Stay away from this company by all means. Just put "Auto Parts Giant complants" in your google search engine and have fun reading about others who they've ripped off. I returned it per their instructions. This was in June. Now it is November, and despite many phone calls and emails, as well as a complaint filed with the BBB, I have not seen my refund. They sent me the wrong part. I have tried repeatedly to return it for a refund. I have called/emailed and no help!! They are rude on the phone..(coughing in your face) and they DO NOT respond to emails. I am out $300 and I DO NOT RECOMMENT BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
