My son was in an accident and the car had to be towed away. The police department used thier contracted company who is Neuners Towing Serivce.

I called there on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 and stated that I do not know the procedure to get the car and also asked as a possibility if it was possible to just sign the title over to them. I was told that the owner would have to call me back. I never received a call back from the owner. I had to call back later that day. And all I was told was I had to come in and talk to the owner. I had other questions also, but was told I had to come down and talk to the owner. It was pulling teeth to get out of them what time the even closed. So I had made arrangements for the person I was having tow the car back to my house to meet me there. Well when I got there they told me that they wanted to see the owner of the towing company's workman's comp. papers. Or else he could not go into their lot. He does not have that because he is the owner. I would have been prepared if they would have explained the procedure to me on the phone when I had called instead of just telling me that I had to talk to the owner.

I was also told that I did not ask the right questions. And that if I would have asked the right questions I would have know. I told them in the beginning that I did not know what needed to be done. They also stated that they can not give me a manual on how it all works. I was not asking for a manual just an explaination of the procedure to get the car out. There are only really 4 ways to get your car out of a tow yard. 1) You drive it out, 2) your insurance is taking care of it, 3) you have some else tow it for you, 4) you have that company tow it out for you.

They were rude, did not want to give any information. They even stated to me that they have people who come in at least 5 to 10 times in one day to try and get their own car out of the lot. But because they are unwilling to give you can information unless according to them you ask the right question. You would have to come back. All they want is to collect more money from you for the storage fee.

The owner did not even listen to anything I was stating to him when he came to the front desk. He was doing other things and really did not care what I was saying.

Yes, I did get my car, but after paying another $65.00 dollars to have them tow it to my house. Plus the cost for storage and the initial towing after the accident, clean up (which is never shown on any paper work).

If you are in the customer service field you should be more than willing to give information out to the customers. Exspecially when someone states to you that they have never dealt with this type of situation before. You should want to explain to them what they need. And be willing to let them ask questions not just state you need to talk to the owner.

All this business is; is a bully. They want to take as much of your money as possible. They think it is funny to see you come back as many times as they can make you. I feel sorry for any other person that has to deal with them. Please be use them with caution.
