AT&T Fault Equipment and false charges

In 2003, I moved from Tx to Ok with my

AT&T cell phone having a 5 states calling plan which included both states.

After 5 months in Ok, I started receiving huge roaming charges that were simply not incurred by me. I called

AT&T Customer Service and they explained that a cell tower in north

central KS, (outside my calling area), was picking up my signal and

I was libel for the charges. This was

outrageous and I refused to pay. AT&T

turned the account over to collections

and, in OK they drag you to court over

debt and garnish wages. I am upset to

this day and cannot let it go. There was

simply no one to turn to at AT&T to get

justice. I got screwed!
