Extra Space Storage

I stored belongings at Extra Space Storage at 245 W. Fordham Road in the

Bronx. After I brought them home, I saw that all silver jewelry had been stolen

from one carton. Apparently someone went in with a metal detector, found the

silver, and stole it. I called the company, contacted corporate headquarters,

and still have never heard a word from them. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE

COMPANY!!!!

I worked with both Extra Space Storage and Public Storage. Extra Space is a criminal enterprise that charges a premium for air conditioned (AC) storage spaces and does not provide AC for months on end (even up to 2 years)without notifying tenants. I wanted to warn tenants particularly the pharmaceutical vendors to remove their products for fear of lost efficacy and the company would not allow me in fact I was fired for insisting on repairs and informing customers. Public Storage takes AC service very seriously and employees are required to have AC repaired immediately. Extra Space does not have in place even the most basic industry standards of against theft particularly by employees. Public Storage on the other hand only allow district managers to enter spaces while Extra Space allows employees to enter space without supervision resulting in increase thefts. EXTRA SPACE STORAGE MUST BE INVESTIGATED AND FORCED TO RETURN MONEY STOLEN FROM TENANTS. I CAN BE CONTACTED TO TESTIFY IF NECESSARY. GOOD LUCK.
