May I speak DIRECT to you. I had ordered a TV satellite service from =

the above company as I felt their prices were very competitive. I hadverified their programs/ pricing more than once before agreeing to a =

contract. Of course, I received the bill after the 3 day periord andthe prices were not what I was quoted ACCORDING TO MY NOTES. I calle=

d and spoke to an account rep DIRECTLY. I mentioned the prices and al=

so there was nothing enclosed re the $100 cash back that I was promise=

d. He told me DIRECTLY I should have checked the internet as the pric=

es were listed there. I told him why would I do that - don't you stan=

d behind your agents and aren't they reputable? He said there was not=

hing he could do.=0D=0A=0D=0AI had to call the company as no one calle=

d me to schedule an appointment as I was told they would. When the te=

ch came, the order was wrong. Common sense - why would I order just o=

ne DVR box to record on my new LCD TV and watch TV on my older, smalle=

r one, while I was recording. I called the company and they said I co=

uldn't upgrade because that is only for new customers. I SAID I AM A =

NEW CUSTOMER and you got my order wrong. They said that will be an ad=

ditional $4.99 per month, which I wasn't told about that additional fe=

e at time of ordering. I was upset and cancelled the service as I DIR=

ECTLY didn't want to have any more dealings with this company.=0D=0A=

=0D=0AYes I did read the terms and I did have one week of service, so =

I figured I wouldn't get off scott free. I wrote to the BBB and Attor=

ney General, which neither agency WOULD help. With this type of tran=

saction, the consumer is not protected at all. DIRECTLY speaking, thi=

s company told untruths in my opinion.=0D=0A=0D=0AI reversed my creditcard fee. At the beginning, I was told by their agent, that I wouldbe getting most of this money back through rebates, cash back etc. T=

hen DIRECTLY speaking, this company added the amount back on the bill,plus the early cancellation fee. When I called to inquire as to why =

this NEW amount was on the bill, they really couldn't give me a answer They first said it was for an upgrade (I had a coupon for free upgr=

ade). Then they said it was for the HD-DVR box (I returned that equipm=

ent). Also while I was disputing the bill, this company turned my ac=

count over to a collection agency 4 days before the invoice was even d=

ue and dinged my excellent credit. I never said I wasn't going to pay=

, I said I was in dispute.=0D=0A=0D=0ADIRECTLY speaking, if anyone els=

e has had dealings with this company, I urge you to send a letter to t=

he Attorney General and possibly a collective law suit could be filed =

against them.=0D=0A=0D=0ASince then, I did get another TV satillite se=

rvice. I had a number of problems, but this company tried to help an=

d offered credits. Come to find out, the first tech, who is no longerwith the company, did not have my HD up to par and also there was a n=

ail in the cable. This company worked with me - they were a real DISH=

=0D=0A=0D=0AA CONSUMER THAT DOES HER HOMEWORK, Susann=0D=0A=0D=0A=
