My ipod just wouldn't turn on one day. I thought it needed to be charged so I put it in the charger. After a good 24 hour charge I went back the next day to see if I could use it. Nothing. I tried to use it in my ihome and on the computer but nothing worked.

I took it to the apple store and asked them if they could do anything. She tried just about everything I did, and that was a waste of time. She asked me how old it was I said about 2 years. (I had bought it 3 months before school 2 yeas ago, with my money I saved up from a whole summer of babysitting!)She said my warranty had run out a couple months ago. She told me I could replace the battery ($70) or get a new one ($150). I think it's rediculious that they won't help me just because the warranty had run out a month ago! I'm still dissappointed and aam now saving up money to buy a battery. I'm telling my friends to buy the generic ipods from now on. Apple stinks.

In my area in Pune, INDIA, they said that apple goods don't have battery replacement and so I had to buy a new Apple iPod. [I own an Apple iPod touch]. Just because my iPod was out of warranty.
