PANACER GEM 17 LCD MONITOR REBATE Panacer Int'l Inc 825 S. Lawson St Industry, Ca 91748 US www.panacer.com On March, 14th 2007 I ordered a GEM LCD 17â monitor which had a rebate of $110 ($90 + $20). I sent the rebate timely with all the required documentation and waited patiently for 12-14 weeks as stated by the offer. Itâs been 23 weeks and I havenât received the rebate payment, I have called 4 different times and was told the check would be sent âthis Fridayâ but nothing is in the mail making me think this is not a serious business. If I don't hear from this company in the next few days I will sacrifice even more of my time making sure they don't get away with this abuse and making people aware of the risk they would be taking by making business with them. I am also waiting for my $110 ($90 + $20) rebate from Panacer for a year. I know another guy who is waiting for exact the same rebates. After this post on complains.com I will e-mail letter of complaint to Federal Trade Commission with CCs to PC Mall, Panacer and GemStar. My original rebate was sent in on Feb 19, 2007 and met all the rebate requirements. I called and sent a copy of all my documents in May. Panacer acknowledged receipt by email and yet I am still getting the run around. Now it is a game. I call every couple of weeks and speak with Daniel and he tells me he will check with the manufacturer to see where my rebate money is. He promises to call back in the next day or so...and assures me that since it has almost been a YEAR I will be put on the priority list. From what I can tell? Panacer and whoever are an Asian based company conducting business in California. Gemstar is owned by 3G Technology Inc. Panacer is just the subsidiary that handles the rebates I guess. Looks like they are located in the same city in CA..more than likely next door to each other(slightly diff zip code though). SO!!! IF Daniel seems so concerned when I call ever couple of weeks about my rebate? WHY doesn't he just walk next door to the manufacturer and ask for a check for my rebate??? I would love to say I am JUST KIDDING!! But? I am totally serious. Friends call me the 'REBATE QUEEN' because I have never had a problem receiving one yet. Panacer will NOT ruin my record!!!! If anyone cares to help and unite???? because this is just WRONG!!! Please respond!!
